The other day in this space I complained that, in the wake of the Chronicle's having doubled the newspaper price of the paper, odious neighbors had begun stealing my copy from my doorstep. P.J. gets results! Steve Falk, publisher of the Chronicle, e-mailed back that he would find a solution. The next morning, the Chron was delivered to my door with the above WARNING! rubber-banded to it. They've kept it going and since then not one of my paid-for papers has been boosted. ... This fellow Falk is results-oriented ... and fast ... just as the boss of a newspaper ought to be. Thanks....
